Mailing List Questions

Q. Do you support mailing lists?
Yes, you can run as many mailing list on your account as you wish. We recommend using Mailman which is installed on all our servers and ready for use. Under 'Mail Manager' in cPanel select 'Mailing Lists' and 'Add List', once created you can then manage the list via the Mailman web interface.
Q. Can I install my own mailing list software?
Yes, you can write your own or use already available scripts, see HotScripts for a complete list of mailing list scripts available for use.
Q. Can I send spam or unsolicited e-mail?
No, absolutely not, sending of spam or unsolicited mass e-mailing will result in immediate suspension and more than likely the termination of your account. This includes mailing lists which falsely advertise themselves as opt-in lists. Be warned!
Q. Are there any restrictions on the number of subscribers on a mailing list?
We allow a maximum of 15,000 messages (total) per month. 500 message per day and 200 messages per hour

Technical support is available free to all clients. If you are having a problem with your account we will troubleshoot it for you and if necessary correct the problem. This does not include help with development, fixing script errors or aiding in your website creation in anyway.

For Linux hosting plans, every account created comes with cPanel. Each of the control panels is fully-featured web-based control panel that allows you to manage your domain through a web interface. We bill every 365 days for Nepali clients.

We accept Bank Transfer, Demand Draft but We do not accept outstation cheques.

Q. What happens if I don't pay for my account?
Your account will be suspended and your web site will not be accessible. Your account will then be deleted at the discretion of the company. It is your responsibility to ensure payments are made on time.
Q. Is there a minimum contract or commitment?
Not at all. You can leave whenever you wish. Any fees paid up to the cancellation date will not be refunded (partially or in full).
Q. Do you accept PayPal?
Yes, we accept paypal.
Q. Do you accept wire-transfer or money order?

Unfortunately our rates are already extremely competitive hence we can not offer any further discounts.
Q. What happens if I exceed my bandwidth or disk space quota?
You will receive an email when you are approaching to utilize your quota. We will contact you in advance to discuss possible options, we will never bill you for extra bandwidth or disk space without your explicit agreement first.
Q. I only need a fraction of your xyz Plan, can I get a discount?
Unfortunately not. Our plans are preset, in order to maintain a high-level of service we can not offer any discount.
Q. Does it cost anything to upgrade my account?
There are no extra charges for upgrading your account, just the increase in yearly billing from the next billing date and a pro-rata charge for the difference in price for the remaining days/months in the year.
Q. Does it cost anything to downgrade?
No, you can downgrade at any time, your lower yearly fee will come into force the next time you are billed. Any fees paid up to the downgrade date will not be refunded (partially or in full).
Q. I need an invoice, can you supply me with one?
We provide email-invoice. You may print the email invoice for your records. We do not provide printed invoice for Internationla clients.

Q. What are the specifications of your servers?

Q. How many sites do you host on each server?
We do not have a predefined limit, nor can we give you an estimate. Resource usage is continually evaluated on each server to ensure there are no bottlenecks in the serving of your web pages. You'll find each and everyone of our servers extremely responsive as we never overload our servers.
Q. Who monitors your servers?
Our data center monitors our servers 24 hrs a day 7 days a week, hence we are alerted to any problems within minutes, we have an arrangement with the data center to immediately notify us and begin troubleshooting any problems.
Q. How often do you upgrade your servers? How does this affect me?
We take a proactive approach to upgrading our servers and ensure upgrades are carried out well before resource capacity is reached. Occasionally we will install more memory or increase the processing power. You will be notified in advance of any upgrade work and your files will not be affected.

CGI Questions

Q. Where must .cgi files be placed?
CGI files can be created in any directory. The cgi-bin folder is just like any other folder and is only created by default because of tradition.
Q. How do I upload cgi files?
Upload CGI files via FTP. However ensure the transfer mode is ASCII to avoid problems.
Q. What do I have to chmod CGI files to?
Since CGI runs under your username, CGI files must be chmod to 700.
Q. My script returns internal server error?
This usually occurs when permissions are loosely set. Try giving 755 and/or 777 permission to your scripts.
